HELP!! MY SERVERS DEAD

Hi Guy,

Hope you can help my server died overnight and im trying to get my moodle up and running again, what i have is a copy of the Moodle folder that used to be the root folder of the old webserver, it contains the Admin, block, folders etc, i also have a copy of the moodledata folder. And a .sql dump file that i create from batch file.

I have created a new webserver and it seems to work as i have just run another installation of moodle on it and its completed fine. So i then replaced the moodle data directorys and moodle folders, updated the config.php file with the new location and restored the .sql file back into the empty database, when i browse were i think my moodle should be i get

HTTP Error 502.2 - Bad Gateway

The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are "".

can any please help im under some serious pressure to get this going ASAP

It would be really helpful to know the details of your server configuration. Operating system? Web Server? Versions of PHP, MySQL etc.?

Help us to help.... in the meantime take a look at your web server error log and see if there are more detailed messages.
