I'm not sure this module continues to be maintained. Many of the posts on this forum haven't received a reply in a long time and the Moderator is no longer even enrolled on the forum!

The Face-to-face module maintainership is in the process of changing hands, hence the lack of updates.
We have a new version with a whole lot more features ready for release! Expect it to be uploaded this week to the Modules section (I'll create a new topic here when I do).
Apologies for the lack of responses, I'll do my best to reply to everyone once the new version is up.

Actually just before I caught this post I submitted a change request in the CONTRIB tracker:
The ticket was assigned to Francois Marier who I assume is no longer working on it.

OK, well that was a bit misleading as the title of this discussion and the original question was whether or not there were plans to have the the Face-to-Face module available in Moodle 2.0!

yeah - sorry bout that Simon - Face to face will eventually be ported to Moodle 2.0 but it will likely take a bit of time before someone with the ability to fund the development work and using face to face plans to upgrade their site to 2.0
In all likelihood this will happen soon although the larger organisations with the ability to fund this sort of work usually don't upgrade their sites straight away - they wait for some of the issues to be ironed out.
If you want it available sooner - drop Aaron a message and let him know if you can help with funding or development!

I sent a PM to a message to Aaron as you both suggested - he did eventually reply then asked me to email him instead!?! Which I did several days ago but no reply...
I also sent an email to Catalyst IT through via their website biut no reply there either...Silence..?
I'm kind of worried about the level of service that is being provided, i was under the impression that Catalyst IT was a registered Moodle Partner. Is this not the case? My apologies, if I got the wrong end of the stick here.

Release notes for version 1.6:
I would also love to see face-to-face in Moodle 2.0. I don't have the funds or skills to help unfortunately.

I've emailed Aaron as well. May possibly be able to put some development into this, just need to know what the scope is. (Basically, is this going to be a minor update or a major rewrite to get it working with 2.0?) Did you ever hear back about this?
