I'm using freehostia and I cant seem to setup my config.php file properly. they ask for host and all this stuff,can someone PLEASE explain WHAT goes into the php file? please help me. Please explain how to get my DATABASE connected with the HOST stuff in the config file.

If you really deleted your database, you lost the site data, at least the data which is kept in the database. If you only messed up the connection to your database, then fixing that will restore all settings. The database connection is defined in your config.php file. Also the domain connection is defined there. See Moodle docs. I don't know freehostia, so I can't help you with entering the right strings to get things working there.
