Hello
In courses where we are using separate groups teachers are not receiving assignment notifications. I have assigned the teachers to each of the groups. I have checked that the assignments are set to send teacher email notifications for submissions. I have verified this is only happening in the courses where groups are being used. I feel like I'm missing something very simple here--any ideas?

i'm having the same problem.i'm using moodle 1.7. only when the assignment is set to separate groups,the teachers are not receiving email notifications about the submitted assignment...Please help me..awaiting reply from anyone..

I actually got this resolved recently. I had not assigned the teacher to the groups. I assumed because of their role they wouldnt have to be assigned to a group and apparently that is not the case. Once I assigned the teacher to each of the groups, they started getting the notifications.
