WebDAV setup and LDAP

Hi,

I am facing an issue in setting up WebDAV and LDAP on a Moodle V1.9.9 instance.

A network drive for SharePoint library has been mapped and the WebDAV works successfully when the LDAP is not configured with AD (Active Directory).

However, the following error is displayed when AD is configured for LDAP authentication in Moodle:

Warning: mkdir()[function.mkdir]: No such file or directory in D:\moodle1.9.9.\lib\setuplib.php on line 167.

ERROR: You need to create the directory <mapped\networkdrive\> with web server write access.

I have followed all the steps in setting up Microsoft Office SharePoint Server as File System for Moodle, including preventing Moodle access to .htaccess file.

I am looking for help to resolve this issue and setup WebDAV and LDAP successfuly. Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

I don't think Moodle developers can do anything here. Since the question is very Microsoft-specific, you might want to try "Windows-based servers" at http://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=6799 or if it more an authentication problem try "User authentication" http://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=42

Hi Vishwanath,

Thanks for the reply. However, the issue is faced when the $CFG-dataroot is pointed to a mapped network drive for SharePoint library. Moodle runs absolutely fine otherwise.

I would appreciate if someone can offer help in this regard.
