I have read the forum on start dates for courses and I understand that this is limited. It seems the only way to stop a student/learner from gaining access to a lesson is to hide it. Would it be possible to switch the hidden lesson (show it) based in the start date? as I am not a PHP but I do have some programming experience an I believe you could simply flip the hidden lesson marker if start date = = date now. This would be very useful as we are going to use Moodle to support in class activities, but students tend not to attend if you give them everything online. The manual switching is OK but automatic would be nice.
