Hi all,
I'm getting an error reported back when accessing a file in a subfolder of a newly created file system repository in Moodle 2.0 Preview 1. The following error message occurs in the file picker: "ERROR: Can not read file, either file does not exist or there are permission problems".
I successfully created a file system repository and can access all the files from the file picker when they are located in the folder specified during the creation of the repository - but not in any of its subfolders.
I can select the first two .mp3 files (see below) for example when creating a file resource in a course, but all the .mp3 files in each subfolder will cause the error message to appear if I select any of them, whether I'm logged in as admin or teacher. Is this a bug or is there a way to use an admin page to set access permissions on subfolders?
Thanks
The file picker shows something like this:
