Dear Tim

Firstly may I say how well moderated this forum is and how much I appreciate this module. This is my first time to ask a question about this module as it really "does what it says on the tin". However, a colleague has asked a very good question which I do not have an answer to.

She would like to add comments to a moodle quiz - like "Well done on answering the questions on forms of business organisation but it is clear that you do not know production very well".

Is it possible to do that? I have looked in the quiz itself and the gradebook and found no obvious way - i also went through the forum but couldn't find anything.

You an add comments like this to particular scores in the gradebook for the course. If you add a comment to the quiz score, that comment will be displayed on the quiz introduction page.

The other thing you could do is just make a manual comment on the first or last question in the quiz, but make the comment relate to the whole quiz.

So sorry! I fully get the second piece of advice.....

I cant work out how to add a comment to quiz socre in the gradebook.........please could you let me know. I am using 1.9.7...........thank you so much!

Sorry, I am not a gradebook expert. I think you go to the grader report, and click the "Turn editing on" button.

Thank you - you are a star!
That is exactly what you do
a. Go to grader reprot
b. Turn editing on
c. Click on the editing hand of next to the box where you want to put the comment
d. A new "form" comes up - add the comment
e. Save it!

umm, Moodle CAN do these things, Tim explained how they are done just above you on this page.

Moderators? What is the forum policy on commercial posts? I looked, but couldn't find a "report abuse" button anywhere on the site. All four of Huang Joe's posts include links to a webpage for a commercial moodle competitor.
