Custom certificate (plugin)

Our Moodle server was just moved behind a firewall - no other changes were made to the system.
As soon as this happened, the Certificate Module stopped generating certificates in Internet Explorer. Firefox users can still get their certificates, but this is a significant issue since most of our users utilize IE.

Has anybody seen this happen before or know how I can possibly remedy it?
