I am trying to add instances of (already created) blocks to the footer. My PHP skills are not great - but I imagine there is a fairly straightforward way to reference a block.
I am trying to get the progress bar to display in the footer or header.

Unfortunately that's not possible in Moodle 1.9 (but will be in Moodle 2.0 AFAIK).
