Hi,

I installed Moodle & Openmeeting and both of them independently works correctly. I want to use them together. So i downloaded and installed "openmeetings_moodle_mod_07.zip" plugin. Plugin also installed correctly. I define new user in moodle with turkish character like "çşıüöğÇÖŞİĞÜ". This user name appeared in moodle as the same i defined. When i firstly enter openmeetings via moodle, user name looks like "öçÅ?ıÄ?ü" in openmeetings rooms. What is the problem here? Is there any lacking openmeeting-moodle plugin? Please help me about this.ozcancaner@hotmail.com

I'm going to suggest a totally different aproach.

Symptoms:

1. The usernames appear the same when going into each program separately.

2. When logging in to Openmeetings through Moodle the usernames are different.

Possible:

Is each using a different character set of "Turkish". One version A and the other version B? Example: an a with an umlout over it is not an a. Even though the keyboard letter a was typed to create both.

To see if this is so, look to see which language pack was installed. Be very careful to insure they are the same version to include the build date (One created 5 years ago may not be a match to one created last year).
