ERROR: Could not instantiate mail function

Hello all! I have moodle installed in Bluehost and I just don't know how to enable moodle to send emails, when I try to send and email I get--> ERROR: Could not instantiate mail function.  

I also posted in a News Forum but just doesn't send any message to subscribers!

I am using Moodle 1.9.6

Please help!

As you have had no answers yet, this may help you get started.

I would guess that you have either not setup the mailserver on your webserver or you have not opened up the port to allow moodle to send mail by default mesthods (if that makes sense).

Bluehost seems to have their own scripts available described here

As Bluehost seems to use cPanel. This link heaps praise on some videos that someone did on installing moodle using cPanel
