Databases: Moodle Log Files limit and mdl_log Table limit Problem

Hello !,

2 days ago, suddenly Moodle stopped generating log files ! and the Recent Activity column was not updated. I looked down the problem and I found out that by clearing the table mdl_log (approx. 1.8MBs with 14.987 entries) using mysql administration, Moodle started to re-genarate tha logs and the Recent Activity column is now continuously updated....

My question is : is there a certain setting that I have to ckeck (php.ini, mysql ???) in order to increase the maximum acceptable size of the mdl_log  table OR to increase the limit of the entries that this table can accept ??? so that to avoid clearing (manualy) every week the mdl_log table by entering mySQL ?

Thanx in advance !

I'm not sure what is causing your problem (disk full?) but you can auto-delete entries from the log by setting the Admin >> Config >> Value named loglifetime.
