Course Import causes HTML to show.

Hi There I recently imported a course from one moodle site to another but for some reason it seems that every <> and "" in the topic outline among other places.

an example of which would be

span style=color: rgb(0, 0, 255);span style=font-weight: bold;Virtual Standardisation 1 /span(April 2009)/span Feedbackbr /br /Thank you to everyone who contributed here last week.br /br /The summary, containing your standardisation comments (and a few extra from us) is now available in the forum.br /br /This was not a moderation, but an effort to ensure that good practice and a common approach can be depended on across the team. You should now ensure that you adopt and embrace the 'good' practices identified and avoid the 'poor' practices. We shall expect to see this reflected in future samples sent for moderation.br /br /Further standardisation discussions will be created here soon.br /br /Joy amp; Veebr /

Anybody know any reason this would be happening?

Many Thanks

Steve

Sorry for the late reply!

Many thanks Mary for the information after investigating it seems I am indeed running 5.2.9 and not 5.2.10 unfortunately I cannot easily update it due to the fact the server is running Fedora 9 which reached end of life shortly after 5.2.10's release. Will have to look into upgrading to 10,

Thanks again.
Steve
