Hi,
when i try to create an index i allways see the message "indexing did not succesfull finish, please try again" (translated from german to english). I do not see any helpfull error message neither in the system logs nor in the apache error log.
Moodle version is 1.9.5+ build 20090923, System is OpenSUSE 11.1, Apache 2.2.10, PHP5.
What can I do to track down this error? Are there any log files within moodle?

You can try to turn debugging on and check any error messages there. This may help you.
