In the Advanced Uploading of Files assignment type, there are a couple of default settings that I would like to change so that our teachers don't have to change them each time. In particular, I'd like to the Send Email option changed to Yes, as most of our teachers prefer this.
I looked at http://<ourmoodle>/admin/settings.php?section=modsettingassignment but it only lists a couple of settings, like upload limit.
Is there any way to change assignment defaults without modifying php files?
