I am a freshman on moodle, and I got a problem need to be solved, because this is a test on my job interview.
I need to develop a simple plugin base on moodle, as simple as it is. However, I have no idea where and how to write code in the existed plugin.
Here is the my particular problem. After completing downloading and setting the environment on my computer(Windows XP), I read the developer document, and download NEWMOODLE zip 1.8. And operate following the steps shown in README. Right now, I can see the "widget" shown on the list in "Management Activities", but there is only "Delete" at the end of this line without "Settings". And, I also do not know how to use this example "widget".
Can anybody help me deal with this problem, and tell me how to develop a simple plugin? At least, the effect of plugin can be seen immidately.
