Dear moodlers,
I am using moodle version 1.9.4 , faced a strange problem when testing categories.
Moodle is allowing duplicates on same category name. This is a flaw in the architecture because Category name is a mandatory field and its the identifier in many places programatically.
From usability stand point of view for
admin/course creator , its confusing regarding in which category the courses should be created or moved to.
student, its misleading and time consuming for a user to enter and check which category has his required courses when we have duiplicates.
