Hi Senthil,

I guess you are using Moodle version 1.9 (?). Note that because of pretty poor quality of the Workshop module in 1.9, the module is de-activated by default. If you really really need to use it, your administrator has to enable the module in the Administration ► Modules ► Activities ► Manage activities.
