This is exactly what I was looking for. We were able to implement the book module on our server and start with a simple book. The PDF output matched the original HTML very good and If we use Adobe to save the file it has hotlinks for the chapters.
We are going to split the course into a number of Books with some chapters having embedded YouTube Videos linking back to our courseware materials.
I was quite impressed at how many other modules are out there for Moodle, glad we looked here first.
