Can I increase the number of assignments ?

At the moment, apprently the student cannot submit the same assignment more than once after they have already submitted.

I want to increase the number of the same assignments that a student can submit.

How can I do that?

Any help is appreciated!

Zipping all files and uploading the zip file may be one way to accomplish this.

Another way is using "Advanced uploading of files" where you determine how many files your students are allowed to upload.

Hartmut,

Thank you for your advice. I had set "Maximum number of
uploaded files" to "3". However, my student got a message
something like,

"Assignment was already submitted for marking and can not be updated" .


I think my students should be able to upload 3 files.


I actually don't give any grade but probably I should not use that function to feedback my students.

Now if I want my students submit again, what can I do? Do I have to delete the assignment and set it up again?

Your students should be able to upload 3 files, but only until they press the 'Send for Marking' button. Once they've done that, it signifies that they are finished with the assignment and it is ready to be graded. You will have to go in and revert the submission to draft status to allow the student to upload additional files.
