Irish Transition Year Students start Moodling

I work as an Education Consultant for a number of companies including Enovation Solutions, and they’ve just launched a new Transition Year Moodle module which may be of interest to secondary teachers in Ireland. On completion of the module, students will be able to set up a working Moodle VLE with subject content provided by teachers and technical support and training provided by the students as needed.

A key issue for schools in the past has been finding the teaching resources to support the implementation of Moodle. With this initiative the transition year students will manage the administration of the system, thus freeing up teaching staff. The module will be self-sustaining with each new transition year group ensuring the further development and growth of the system.

As Ireland’s official Moodle partner, Enovation Solutions is well placed to provide schools with the consultancy services to make the most of their Moodle VLE, including important issues such as data protection and security.
