Regrading Quiz Attempts

Regrading Quiz Attempts

I am a relatively new Moodle user and have been testing its features with a small class of high school students before launching it with all my classes next school year.

I had my students take a short multiple choice quiz and discovered a minor error in one of the answer keys that I needed to change. After I made the correction, I selected the "regrade attempts" option and when it regraded their quiz answers, they all reverted to zeros and I lost all their scores.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I have searched the forums for messages regarding the "regrading" feature, but cannot seem to find any help with it. I am not sure how to fix this problem, and I certainly don't want to be an irresponsible administrator and lose student data like this. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes, this is a known bug in 1.0.8.1 - I recommend upgrading to 1.0.9 Beta or 1.0.9 in a week's time.

Sorry, but there's no simple way to get those results back.
