Text editors

We all know about the issues surrounding pasting content form Word into the HTML editor, and using the Clean Word HTML function. However we have at least one department on campus using Wordperfect and they asked if the same issues apply.

My guess is that there are no problems with Wordperfect but I want to be sure before I tell them it's okay. Am I correct?
