Problem viewing grade

Hi Tim and All members,
I'm new comers with moodle and I have a job to make quizz. So far all jobs have done perfect until one problem arise smile.

The problem is : After all student finishing their quiz, I want to change (remove and edit) question on quizz and it fails because moodle says "It cannot change since there are attempt on that quizz". So, I delete all attempt and I can change question successfully. Unfortunately I lost student list who attempt the quizz and I cannot see their result on quiz either.

How to fix this , any help will valuable for me smile

You can edit the question and/or the grade points allocated to that question (and regrade the quiz) but cannot remove it if a student has attempted the quiz. Be careful when editing the text of a question after a student has submitted an attempt, it would not be fair to completely re-word it!
If you wanted to remove the weighting of a question after one or more attempts have been made I recommend that you change the quiz points for that question to zero (0) so it doesn't count in the quiz total.

I'm sorry ArSa, I forgot to reply about the second half of your query - finding the results of the deleted attempts...
You won't be able to get the results back once you have deleted the attempts but you can see who attempted the quiz from the Course Reports/Logs.
Look for any Log entries that say 'Quiz Close Attempt' or a "Post' from the Participation Report.

On first thinking your tips will solving my problem smile. Unfortunately I have no logs file anythings? It were strange since when I go to each quiz there are many participant and I can see their each grade but no Log either..how could it be? Is it bug?
I use moodle 1.9.4 for those quiz.

Do you have the 'Reports' link displayed on the administration menu of the course?
If so click this to view the Logs and Participation Reports, which are outlined in the Teacher Log Reports of the Moodle Docs.
If you do not see this link you need to have the course reports capabilities.

I do have 'Report' link as you mention above. But no logs diplayed. My assumption it caused by setting up "Enrolment duration"for 1 day only. how do you think?

Now I try to find it on database with hope there are some historical data hook on any tables. I might little surprised that each table has no relationship with others (eg; foreign key) , It might use join to make relations.

Any suggestion which table should I look in?

The logs will still be displayed in the course regardless of if the student is still enrolled in the course. I suggest you select All Participants, All days and just that one activity and see what comes up.
