Accessing external http sites from an https moodle URL

Hi guys

We now have us a secure certificate for our moodle - https://etcetcetc.com –

Of course, we now have the problem that when people want to pull in rss/youtube/nln/jorum, etc material from other http://www.blahblahblah.com sites we get the following popup all the time:

"Security information: This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?" and people have to click "OK" to see them.

Obviously, we want to avoid this or else users will be tearing their hair out and beating a path to IT demanding that the problem is rectified. A lot of our staff are keen on embedding material from external unsecured URLs, etc and are excited by this functionality within moodle. Have you ever experienced this with other secured moodle sites and what is the solution or can you recommend someone who may have overcome it????

Cheers

Richard
