Moodle course creators have been battling with this issue since the dawn of Moodle time - circa 2003?
QuizPort can handle the sharing of resource between Moodle courses in two ways:
- store the quizzes in the site files folder
if the course teacher is also a Moodle adminsitrator and can access the site files folder, then you can put your quizzes in the site files folder and from the QuizPort quiz settings page select "Site files" as the location of the quiz file
- access the quizzes via a url
when entering the source file a QuizPort quiz, instead using a path within either the course files or site files folder, you can enter a url that begins with "http://". The url can be for a file anywhere on the internet that your students can access. This method allows you to share resource between different Moodle sites even if they are on different servers.
