Hi,

I have ben trying to launch a PowerPoint slidehow automatically through Moodle without having to launch within PowerPoint itself, and I can't seem to manage it.  Does anyone know how to autostart a PowerPoint slideshow via Moodle as it seems messy starting the slideshow by hand with the Powerpoint slideshow starter.

Hello,
Slides show doesn't work very well with browsers. That's why we must select "force download" when creating a resource of this type in MOODLE.

Well, you can use services over the net, there are quite a lot, "scribd" his an example: see more here: http://labnol.blogspot.com/2007/08/upload-powerpoint-presentations-ppt.html;

Hi Antonio,

Simple, yet effective.  Thanks very much. 

I had trouble being able to select force download until I first selected 'Same Window' and was then able to select it.
