Hi

We have 40 000 users and start to see performance problems, wich ways i have to measure performance and try to improve it?

We have a server for Apache+PHP and another servfer to the database.

We are using mysql tuner to test and tunning

Anybody use the php xdebug extension and webgrind? how to enable the xdebug extension?

Any other ways to measure performance ? unix tools ?

Thank´s in advance

Hi

I gather you have two servers: one as the webserver, the other as the database server. Other than that I find very little information: How about the hardware, the network connection, the operating system, the versions of Apache, PHP, MySQL?

What are your "performance problems" exactly? Where do you notice them? Any measurements?

Have you gone through the documentation? http://docs.moodle.org/en/Performance for example.

Try http://www.zabbix.com ... You can get on the same screen graphics abount memory, I/O, number of apache processes, number of mysql connections, CPU utilization, etc. The relation between them will give you a new viewpoint
