I wonder what's the procedure to submit patches like the one mentioned in http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=10934#58567. It was my first one (primarily to get into Moodle a bit), but won't be the last from our side.

Best way is to file a feature request in the bug tracker and attach the patch.
Things are very busy right now and I'm trying to focus on the huge task of XHTML+Templates for 1.5, so don't expect instant results, but if it's in the tracker then it has the best chance of being dealt with eventually.
