Hi. I want to start a plugin that will allow the teachers to import data into moodle from a third party site. Any ideas where I should start from? Thanks.

Pedro - Can you provide some more information. What site, how is the data stored, how would you envision it being imported, into what, which version of Moodle, etc.? The more specific information you can provide the more likely that we will be able to point you in a helpful direction. Peace - Anthony

The site is this: clip.unl.pt
I'm not certain on how to import the data yet. I'm not sure what the data is actually. I suppose its lesson summaries, and that kind of stuff. As for the moodle version I'm aiming for the last one, I think.

I read on the development section about a widget folder, but I don't seem to find it in my moodle documents.

Thanks

Oh, yeah... The data to import comes in xml. I'm still not sure how to store it in moodle, though. And the moodle version is 1.9.4.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
