Wel, I'm not sure if this is the place to be ...
If someone logs in on a guest account, the top right corner shows "guest
account(login)" whereas it should be "guest account(logout)".
The same on the bottom of the page.
It's happening also on the moodle.org site.
My Moodle version is 1.4 (STABLE)
I fiiled in a bug report.
Actually, I thought this too, but when you think about it, does it matter that the guest logout? I find it easier for registered users to click login, without navigating to the Main page, if they happen upona terminal that is logged in as a guest.
I may be off base here, but I kind of like it the way it is.

Like I wrote in the bug tracker, this is actually a feature that was added not too long ago.
It's just a way of seeing things, one can get used to it ...
Or: if you have an account you still can choose to login as guest, anonymous, with restricted rights. (on sites that monitor who did login...)
- or: guest is not a real login
- or: the login promt gives you a second chance/"hint" to login
