i have the tex filter enabled in the settings of my moodle site but i dont know how to go about testing this?
when i entered a mathematical expression without the any surrounding $$ sign, it wont display correctly but once i include the $$ signs, it displays correctly.
my question is how do i test that the tex filter functions as it should.
