The forum you are posting in is kind of an informal one. You might want to go to the "Support" tab at the top of this webpage. You then have the links to the documentation, community forums, books and commercial services.
- You can find out more about the moodle itself there in the documentation. It takes a little while to get used to the organization, but it is very good.
- The Forums under support can help you. This would be a better place to post when you get your Moodle going or if you need more info.
- Several of the Books listed are very good also. Some are free pdf format. The Using Moodle 2nd edition is available in book form and on this site in electronic format. It is written for 1.83 but it is very useful in working through the basics of Moodle.
- Some of the commerical services associated with Moodle might be able to give you more and faster help if you need it.
The "Download" Tab is where you can download the package for installation on your system. There are notes on installation... it's a good idea to print them off and read them carefully.
Under the "About" tab is a link to a demo site. You can log in as an Admin, or a Teacher or a Student by following the login directions in the demo. You can go in and work through different types of resources and see how they work... very helpful.
Try those and see if that helps...
