Workshop as 'Shared Resource area'

Hi,
I simply need to use Workshop as a central store for an activity where pupils (13 yr olds) can upload information for other pupils to access and use in their work - no assessments are required at all.
Anyone out there know the best 'settings' to use? I have had a dabble but only limited success. sad

Why not use a database? It might be simpler to operate 微笑

Thanks Mary,
I could do that or even use a 'Shared Folder' on our network, however, we are trying to have Moodle as our sole location for courses and resources. The documentation implies Workshop should do the job?

Mary,
my apolgies, I realised after my first reply that your were talking about the Database Module in Moodle - on checking it out, this will in fact do what I need.
