I do not know much about constructivism, other that what I read in Martin's material.

I have read about constructionism. Constructionism is 'learning by making'.

This essay 'Situating Constructionism'
http://www.papert.org/articles/SituatingConstructionism.html

is the first chapter in Seymour Papert and Idit Harel's book Constructionism (Ablex Publishing Corporation, 1991)

They said:

'Constructionism--the N word as opposed to the V word--shares constructivism's connotation of learning as "building knowledge structures" irrespective of the circumstances of the learning. It then adds the idea that this happens especially felicitously in a context where the learner is consciously engaged in constructing a public entity, whether it's a sand castle on the beach or a theory of the universe'

I was hoping to get some input on how others use ConstructiVism to help me build my knowledge structure in that area.

Any comments?

I don't know what you have exactly in mind wink.gif (Maybe it's my poor understanding of English language). If you're looking for usefull ressources about constructivism, try this :

IMO that's a fantastic startpoint for further research.
