I have a suggestion and a question.
Suggestion
The documentation found by clicking on the help button next to "Format" - [/help.php?module=moodle&file=textformat.html&forcelang=] when posting to a forum for example - should explain how to access text input formats other than HTML.
The fact that this is done by accessing your user profile and changing the text input preference is not very obvious. Thus it can be confusing for users who read this documentation which explains the different input formats, but then wonder why the don't have access to them.
I suggest adding a line at the top or bottom of the documentation page, explaining how to access the other text input formats.
Question
Does the moodle documentation on the website correspond to the moodle documentation in the distribution? For example, if I edit http://docs.moodle.org/en/Formatting_options on the website, does it edit the future [/help.php?module=moodle&file=textformat.html&forcelang=] in the distribution?

Hi David,
You could change the documentation yourself (it's a Wiki after all...) or you could add your observation on the FAQ pages (http://docs.moodle.org/en/Category:FAQ). If there is no fitting page yet you can create your own (http://docs.moodle.org/en/FAQ_FAQ).
Regards,
Frank
