TEX notation Question

Hello all....first of all, I'm not a Math teacher, but I need to train Math teachers on the use of our 1.9.2 Moodle system. I have done a lot of studying of TEX language, and figured I would use that to help our Math teachers create math symbols in Moodle resources.

So to test my own ability, I typed into a Moodle web page several lines of TEX notation, and they rendered exactly right! I was very proud of myself, until I returned the next day, opened up the web page of TEX language I had created the day before, and found IT WAS NO LONGER RENDERED CORRECTLY.

Now it just looks like regular text, blue in color.

Why would it render correctly one day, but, without any editing or changes in the TEX notation......NOT render the following day?

Thanks for your help!

Could someone (with adm rights) have turned off the TeX filter?

Jeff - no, I checked the TeX filter, and the open eyeball is still there! I realized I had turned off my Flash player, and then turned it on and restarted the Firefox browser.....but today I still get the actual TeX language as a blue link.

So I'm still stumped.
