Say, for arguments sake, I had joked at home a long time ago that we should get a Moodle for a dog (Maltese X Poodle) and say that my wife and kids had followed through and say that we were picking up an all-black male Moodle puppy this very day ...

And say I was trying to think of a good Moodle-related name for this dog, something related to Moodle but not too obviously geeky ...

Any one have any good names? 微笑

* Ninja - secret ninjas abound in the moodle community, and this one is already clad in black!

Great minds think alike, I've been calling him Mr Ninja already! He is really black and quiet. It will probably end up as a nickname though as the family have different associations.

  3. Malti'moo (maltese + moodle/poodle)
  4. Malt'amoo (maltese + moodle/poodle)
  5. Malt whiskyoodle (from the whisky lol)
  6. Moo-ppy (from moodle + puppy)
  7. Boodle (black moodle)
  8. Bloodle (black moodle)
  9. Boodleppy (black moodle puppy)
  10. I could go on this for hours lol

Patch is an excellent idea - if only he had some sort of patch on him it would be perfect. On related note I was thinking of "Tracker".

I'm of the opinion that dog names should be sort and simple. How about Doc? Hopefully everyone will give Doc a little treat and making maintaining him easy. I'm sure its a smart dog so non-geeks might think you are referring to it as slang for doctor. Besides, having a doc in the house might be a way of filling that hole for never having completed the PhD :P Peace - Anthony

p.s. - I'm assuming your Moodle will have an orange coat.

Hi Martin,

If it's not too late why not call your moodle after the official 'moot' drink: 'Mojito'? (I think that's how you spell it?) - it's always worth the hangover!
