Say, for arguments sake, I had joked at home a long time ago that we should get a Moodle for a dog (Maltese X Poodle) and say that my wife and kids had followed through and say that we were picking up an all-black male Moodle puppy this very day ...

* Bugsy - as in Bugsy Malone... though the Ubuntu folks already used that joke - they called their bugtracker Malone...)
* Ninja - secret ninjas abound in the moodle community, and this one is already clad in black!

Great minds think alike, I've been calling him Mr Ninja already! He is really black and quiet. It will probably end up as a nickname though as the family have different associations.

I'm of the opinion that dog names should be sort and simple. How about Doc? Hopefully everyone will give Doc a little treat and making maintaining him easy. I'm sure its a smart dog so non-geeks might think you are referring to it as slang for doctor. Besides, having a doc in the house might be a way of filling that hole for never having completed the PhD :P Peace - Anthony
