Using 1.9.2 and encountering bizarre problems today.
turned off email authentication as many of my students do not have an email address.
Upon completing their profile, Moodle is telling everyone to respond to the email being sent as proof of changing their email address.
This is their first time in.
Why is it making them show proof they changed email address - when they are actually only logging in for the first time today?
Is there a setting I missed??
