if you want all your HotPots to "stay on the quiz", then you can try the workaround mentioned in the the following thread:
The current HotPot module has no way to selectively make some HotPots return to the course page, and some stay on the quiz page. However, the successor to the HotPot module *does* allow to whether or not you want to redirect automatically at the end of your Hot Potatoes quiz.
