im in secondary school and this is something i have 2 do 4 summers kewl, but the teacher told us nothing about what to do, she just told us 2 download moodle and make a good site!!!???

I can't take over for your teacher - if that's really all the instructions you have received, you might want to go back and ask for some more explanations.
If you have problems installing Moodle, and you need it only for a few weeks, you may want to install a package from http://download.moodle.org/windows/ (I suppose you are on Windows - there are packages for Mac OS X if that's your platform).
Have a look at http://docs.moodle.org/en/Installation_Quickstart (and other pages on that site) for more help with installing Moodle.
