I was running Moodle 1.8 then yesterday I upgraded to 1.9 using Fantastico on my hostgator account.
Now when I go to my homepage it opens fine (online.snh.cc) but when I try to log in it goes to an error page (try logging in using RyanL and SNH). I would be happy to provide FTP details in anyone can take a look and see what may be going wrong.

Apparently there are many issues with using Fantastico to install or upgrade Moodle. I used it on Siteground without any issues, but they "support" Moodle so that might be why. I would suggest uninstalling it and following the Moodledocs installation guidelines to install manually.

After reading through a number of posts I decided to uninstall and reinstall using the instructions given on http://otaru-jc.ac.jp/hagley/settingupmoodleonhostingwithcpanel.swf
