Let's say I have a category in which "aggregate only non-empty grades" is disabled. There is one empty grade item in this category.

When the grade is non-hidden, the category total is not calculated on the grader report or the user report. There is a "-" in its place.

When the grade is hidden or "hidden until", the category total is not calculated on the grader report, but is calculated to 0.00 in the user report.

Is this a bug in the user report? It is misleading to students because their category totals can show up as 0.00 or lower than they should be. Depending on the setup of the rest of the course's gradebook, these errors can make other grades wrong.
