I am getting this error when trying to run a full backup in Moodle. We are on Moodle 1.4.4+ and we are currently planning out our upgrade to 1.7. We get this error even if we try to backup a course. Any help wouldbe great!

Hello my friend. I stow the same with problem that its and well, obtained solution for such, waits that it helps you and that it also helps others.
The problem is transform the original files in a zip file.
In file "moodlelib.php" in line 6154 have a "if" condition for verify if $CFG->zip is empty or no. In my file system I don't have the folder that the "$CFG->zip" points.
Then I made with that “CFG->zip” was empty in a line before “if” condition.
$CFG->zip = '';

i am new to this forum, but thanks for your suggestion i would like to share the idea how i have solved this problem.
As i have transferred my server from one to another and then in new server i am getting this problem.
so in admin section i goes to :
admin->server->systempath and here set the path for ZIP and Unzip folder to blank(initially the path is set here as /usr/bin/zip).
Now my backups are really working fine.

my backup will run correctly if i set the zip path to blank... initially I set it to /usr/bin/zip.
I don't why I've to set it differently with Ravi.
FYI, my server run in FC 4 and using Moodle 1.9.
