Failed to enable internalmail

I've installed Internal mail 2.5.1 with my version 1.6.3 of Moodle.

When I try to add the internal mail activity to the site's homepage i get this error:

Failed to enable internalmail

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

MySQL 5.0 and Win 2003 server

After uploading the files and going to admin page it showed that it had created the tables successfully.  There were no error messages there.

I'm having the same problem running WIn XP, Apache 2.0.55, php 5.1.2 and mysql 5.0.18.
I've tried reinstalling it but i end at the same point, there are no problems when activating it (the tables are created).

The exact message is: Failed to enable internalmail 1164842120 (the timestamp)

Thanks.

HI Ludo.

I'll try to explain in "english", the problem I've found when I try to test internalmail 2.5.2 over moodle 1.7. I've got a PC with XP Pro, Mysql 5.0.24a , php 5.1.2.2

I have te same problem, but when I enable the debug mode and I try to add the main InternalMail, it appears the next info:

Field 'intro' doesn't have a default value

INSERT INTO mdl_internalmail ( COURSE, NAME, ASSESSED, ASSESSTIMESTART, ASSESSTIMEFINISH, MAXBYTES, TIMEMODIFIED ) VALUES ( 1, 'Preubas', 0, 0, 0, 1, 1170928962 )

I've tried to change in mdl_internalmail the field "intro", but Mysql says:

#1101 - BLOB/TEXT column "intro" can't have a default value.

then I've changed this field and I enable the NULL value.

I try again and "alehoop" it works.

By the way, in mode "debug" there are lots of warnings, (notice).

I'll continue testing.

Thank you for your work.

P.S: I apologize about my horrible english

Hi,

I'm using APACHE 2.0.59, PHP 5.1.6 and MYSQL 5.0.24a on a WinXP O.S.I'm trying to reproduce this bug, but I can't do it.
I have been installed a moodle 1.6.3 and Internalmail 2.5.1 on it. But it seems that works correctly.

Are you installing at the first time or is it an upgrade?
Can you explain me anymore about special circumstances before you install internalmail?
