After upgrading to 1.6.2 from 1.6.1 the statistics don't get updated (just more and more days pending) and the read tracking has stopped (everything is marked as read all the time).
I've tried resetting the statistics tables and am pretty sure that the script runs. And cron is also executing.
Does anyone have any tips?

I am experiencing problems with statistics with a fresh install of 1.6.3+
"Statistics is currently in catchup mode. So far 0 day(s) have been processed and 7 are pending. Check back soon!"

It does not seem to be anybody taking care of this problem.
There is no documentation on how to deal with statistics and the reported bugs do not seem to go anywhere.
Whould somebody take pitty of us trying to use the so very much publicized statistics that do not work?

We also have Moodle 1.6 + (2006050506) and there is no problem with stats on this one.
