Im interesting in learn how apply semantic web technologies on moodle (metadata, ontology). I think the first step may be the creation of ontologies (rdfs or owl) for the system (courses: resourses and activities). But Im new in this subject.

Any one knows if exists any development in the field of integrating metadata/ontologies to moodle?
I only found this links:

http://docs.moodle.org/en/Metadata

http://docs.moodle.org/en/Thing

and, of course, SCORM...

(sorry my English)

Hi everybody,
As Moodle is a Learning Management System, it could be useful that Moodle implements the Learning Object Metadata (LOM).

The LOM is also used in SCORM.

Best regards.

Hello,

I just tried to find out, what activities exist to integrate Semantic Web technologies with moodle. In the discussions I found that there are some people around having ideas, but there don't seem to be plugins etc. Is this right?

I just conducted a little students project, regarding learner-driven construction of (course) domain ontologies in moodle. That's why I'm interested in this topic.
