I'm upgrading from 1.9.17 (build 20120312) to 2.2.2 (Build 20120312).
Everything ran smothly but when I open a wiki in which the students are diveded in separete groups, the wiki is empty.
When I open wiki with no group mode, the content is available. Only the links to files or images are broken. I think they are not converted with the URL for the new file structure.
Have you experience this issues? Ideas for solution?

You cannot use backup/restore from 1.9 to 2.x either. We have not upgraded the production system partly because of wiki issues.
